ROB ETCHELLS

Rob is a Director and a key member of the HHL Executive Management team, responsible for all areas of Finance for the Group including financial reporting and forecasting, financing, audit, treasury, tax and risk management. He has over 16 years’ finance experience across different industry sectors and geographies, particularly Asia and Africa, with an emphasis on scaling new portfolio businesses in emerging markets. He has spent the last four years as CFO of Africa Logistics Properties (ALP) in Kenya where he was a key member of the Executive team as well as having responsibility for all areas of finance. Prior to ALP, he worked in various senior finance roles within the Swire Group, a multi-billion-dollar Global conglomerate. Rob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Newcastle (UK), is a UK Chartered Management Accountant and holds an Advanced Executive Management Qualification from INSEAD Business School (France). Rob is married with three children and lives in Nairobi.
